Position Overview: As a Cybersecurity Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our organization’s information systems and networks. Your primary focus will be on web application security, ISO audit preparedness, network security, vulnerability assessment, IT asset management, incident response strategies, and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities:

1. Web Application Security:
   1. Implement measures to protect web applications from common security threats.
2. ISO Audit:
   1. Prepare for and oversee internal and external audits related to information security and cybersecurity.
   2. Implement processes for ongoing improvement of information security practices based on audit findings.
3. Network Security:
   1. Oversee the configuration and management of firewalls to protect the organization’s network.
   2. Implement systems to detect and prevent unauthorized access and malicious activities on the network.
   3. Design and maintain a secure network infrastructure to mitigate potential security risks.
4. Vulnerability Assessment:
   1. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
   2. Prioritize and manage the remediation of identified vulnerabilities based on risk assessment.
5. IT Asset Management:
   1. Direct significant effort into IT asset management, involving hardening, tagging, tracking, and auditing all IT assets.
   2. Incident Response and Disaster Recovery:
   3. Develop strategies to handle security incidents and trigger investigations.
   4. Plan and execute periodic disaster recovery drills/simulation exercises to establish the adequacy of the Business Continuity Plan.

 Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are preferred.
3. Above 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
4. Proficiency in web application security tools and techniques.
5. Experience with ISO audit preparation and management.
6. Strong knowledge of network security principles, including firewall management and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
7. Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and risk management frameworks.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
10. Ability to adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats and technologies.
